St. Francis Medical Center Receives Awards from Collaborative Alliance for Nursing Outcomes

St. Francis Medical Center was honored with two Performance Excellence Awards from the Collaborative Alliance for Nursing Outcomes (CALNOC). The hospital was recognized for Best Performance in Preventing Hospital Acquired Infections – C. difficile Total Facility, and Best Performance in Preventing Hospital Acquired Infections – Central Line-Associated Blood Stream Infections Total Facility. This is the fourth consecutive year that St. Francis was recognized for its exemplary work in preventing infections.
Derek Drake, DNP, RN, NE-BC, CNML, CNL, Chief Nursing Officer, said, “I am extremely proud of the team for their commitment and dedication to improve patient safety, experience, and outcomes. These awards are a direct representation of our hospital’s commitment to our patients and our community.”
